1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyGoat (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using a supported OAuth provider (Discord or Google). You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that appear fraudulent.

Your username must comply with our acceptable-use policy and must not impersonate another person or entity. Usernames cannot be transferred.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post, upload, or link to content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
• Infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
• Distribute spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without prior written consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.

4. Payment & Premium

MyGoat offers an optional Premium upgrade for a one-time payment of $4.99. This is a lifetime purchase — there is no recurring subscription. Premium unlocks additional customization features for your profile page.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe’s terms of service. All sales are final; refunds are granted only at our discretion in cases of billing error or technical failure that prevents access to Premium features.

5. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings (Settings → Danger zone). We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your profile and associated data will be scheduled for deletion. Premium purchases are non-refundable upon voluntary account deletion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
