Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we receive information from your OAuth provider (Discord or Google) including your display name, email address, and profile picture. You may also provide additional information when customizing your profile such as a bio, links, and a username.
We automatically collect limited usage data when a profile is viewed — such as device type, referrer, and timestamps — to power the analytics shown to profile owners. Your IP address is processed transiently by our hosting providers to deliver the Service and help prevent abuse; we do not store visitor IP addresses in profile data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and profile page.
- To process Premium purchases and prevent fraud.
- To send essential account messages. Payment receipts are issued by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
- To monitor for abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To analyze aggregate, anonymized usage patterns so we can improve the Service.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. To understand how profiles perform, we use privacy-friendly, first-party analytics (such as profile-view and link-click counts); we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies; however, some features of the Service may not function properly as a result.
4. Third Parties
We share data with the following third-party services:
- Stripe— payment processing for Premium purchases. Stripe receives your payment card information directly; we never see or store full card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to data processed by them.
- Discord / Google — OAuth identity providers. When you sign in with Discord or Google, those providers share a limited set of profile data with us per your authorization. Their respective privacy policies govern how they handle your data.
- Convex— our backend database provider. Your profile data is stored in Convex’s infrastructure, which is hosted in the United States.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer (e.g., payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance).
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
